Register and Connect to Argos

  1. The first time you launch Argos from a newly integrated LMS, you must register your institution.

Fill in the Institution Name, Institution URL, Email, and Location fields, then select Other LMS and Register

Note: If you do not complete this step, the first person who launches Argos (such as instructor), will be shown the Registration screen. We recommend you do this in advance of your instructors needing to connect to Argos, because an Argos Admin must take the step of accepting your registration, which may take up to 24 hours. If you have not received approval in 24 hours, or need it more quickly, please contact Argos Support.

On the Registration screen, add:

Institution Name: Your institution’s name

Institution URL: Your institution’s D2L URL

Contact Email: An LMS Administrator’s email.

Select Country and Time Zone

LTI 1.3 Configuration: Other LMS

mceclip19.png

2. Add the URLs requested.

Note: You must add the URLs specific to your registration. These can be found by going to Settings > Manage Extensibility > LTI Advantage, selecting the tool you registered above, and scrolling down to the Brightspace Registration Details section.

Keyset URL:
https://eep.brightspace.com/d2l/.well-known/jwks

Auth Token URL (called OAuth2 Access Token in D2L): https://auth.brightspace.com/core/connect/token

Auth Login URL (called OpenID Connect Authentication Endpoint in D2L): https://eep.brightspace.com/d2l/lti/authenticate

Auth Server URL (called OAuth2 Audience in D2L): https://api.brightspace.com/auth/token

mceclip20.png

3. After submitting your registration, an email is sent to the Argos team for approval. Once approved, you will receive an email saying your registration is approved.

4. After approval, the next time you or your instructors launch a course link to Argos, the Getting Started screen will appear so that they may select the desired content.
